Since 1985, the company has been continually transforming and engineering the stoppers and its functionalities. From innocuous anti-bacterial wine closures, unbreakable t-tops co-injected in one piece, to Biocorks promoting sustainable economy, every production process motivates us to generate new solutions for the bottle topping industry.
ORIGINS OF THE COMPANY.
Sintecor is a family company founded in 1985 by José Ferreiro Romariz and María Eugenia Lorenzo; both were part of the first business company related to the plastic industry. Twenty years before, in 1965, José Ferreiro (senior) and his son-in-law José Romariz, founded the mother company Ferroco S.A., a plastics company toy and bazaar manufacturer. Today the company is managed by the heirs of the Romariz family with Bazar plastic products with the Covey brand.

INNOCUOUS WINE STOPPER.
Since our beginnings, our objective was to tackle bottling drinks, mainly for wines and liquors, thinking of an alternative to the traditional cork stopper to put an end to cork malfunctions.
The solution was to create a functional and harmless product that was practical and innovative, with properties that optimize the bottling of young wines, liquors, and sparkling beverages.

In 1995 Sintecor focused on solving the problems of topping distilled beverages. Since then, Sintecor has changed the way t-top stoppers were produced until that moment. Co-injected caps become the best solution to end the broken t-tops.
SUSTAINABLE BIOPLASTIC STOPPERS.
IN 2019, the company launched our latest brand: BIOCORKS. Our sustainable bioplastic stoppers are made from sugarcane biomass, and both brands, Sintecor and Biocorks contribute to the circular economy due to our card line's recyclable feature: synthetic and bioplastic lines.
